Porta Romana Exhibitions
Our exhibition in Milan last week was a great success, and we were proud to exhibit amongst top British brands including SCP, Case, Pinch Design and Ercol.
Matthew Hilton launched 12 new products including Orson desk, Welles table, McQueen sofa, McQueen Bed, McQueen chest, Hide Chair and Different Trains cabinet. Also launched were four Windsor chairs in ash and walnut, designed by Hilton, manufactured by Ercol and distributed exclusively through De La Espada. Ercol is the last of the High Wycombe furniture makers, their history of making Windsor chairs an essential part of this range.

Studioilse previewed the Companions range, exhibited alongside new two-seater versions of select products from the Seating for Eating collective. Charlene Mullen previewed Pablo cushions and bed runner while Søren Rose Studio previewed collaboration with De La Espada in advance of the Autumn launch with the display of Dragon Chair. Autoban and Leif.designpark exhibited the latest work from Autumn 2010.

Our worldwide retailers had the chance to catch up with our collaborating designers through a series of Designer Chats, which provided an intimate platform for discussion about design.

Elle Decor Young Talents on Show
Leif.designpark also exhibited as part of Elle Decor's Young Talents on Show at Stella McCartney's showroom in Zona Tortona. On display was Lily Dining Table manufactured by De La Espada among other Leif.designpark products including Rebirth pod.
New York Design Week
Fresh from Milan, we are already looking forward to New York Design Week where we will present the latest launches from Matthew Hilton and Leif.designpark. The exhibition will run from 14-22 May in our New York Greene Street Store, with a cocktail evening held on Monday 16 May from 6pm to 8pm. De La Espada, 33 Greene Street, SoHo, New York, NY 10013.
Saturday in Design, Singapore
In May, our Singapore retailer, Dream, will participate in Saturday in Design, Australasia's premier design event. On Thursday 19th May, they welcome Seyhan Ozdemir of Autoban to their showroom for a cocktail party and design discussion from 6:30 - 9pm.
