Design for Living, Hong Kong
From 17 March - 6 April, Lane Crawford will present the Design for Living programme, which will feature work spanning the careers of British designers, Matthew Hilton and Ilse Crawford. The event marks the designers' debut in Hong Kong, and will include Matthew Hilton's designs for manufacturers SCP and Case as well as products from his eponymous brand, manufactured by De La Espada. On display from Ilse Crawford will be glassware designed with Michael Anastassiades, Wastberg light, Crawford's book "Home is Where the Heart Is" and Seating for Eating, the collective which launched at the London Design Festival in September. Zona Romana, Milan
Salone del Mobile is drawing nearer. From 14-18 April, a series of exhibitions, together titled “Furniture for Life” will be on display at Spazio 4, Spazio Botta in Zona Romana. Matthew Hilton will present the new Upholstered Tapas Chair; Autoban launches Holy Coffee Table, and Studoilse introduces Stool with a leather seat. Exhibiting on adjacent stands at Spazio Botta along with Leif.designpark, the designer-led brands will also present products launched at the London Design Festival this past September. Spazio 4 will feature four unique spaces, each dedicated to one designer-led brand. Each is created in the vision of the designer, displaying the products as they were intended to be seen. ICFF, New York
In May, the Furniture for Life exhibition will move to the De La Espada Greene Street store. The exhibition will run from 14-18 May as part of New York Design Week, with a reception held on the evening of Monday, 17 May. The exhibition will mark the official launch of the Studioilse Seating for Eating collection in the United States.
Further exhibitions
We are pleased to announce that in addition to exhibitions in Paris, Hong Kong, New York, Milan and London we will also exhibit in Oporto and Belgrade this year. We will bring the Furniture for Life exhibition to The Oporto Show in June, shortly after Autoban exhibits in Belgrade for Belgrade Design Week.
